Shitoryu Karatedo Queensland (SKQ) is:

a new not-for-profit group dedicated to the preservation of the heritage and promotion of the traditions and techniques taught in the Shitoryu style of karatedo. SKQ short-term objective is to fully establish itself. Initially we would like to raise interest amongst karate students, parents, instructors or members of broader communities who see a value in Karatedo.

SKQ aims, in the long-term, to provide the means to:

support dojo, state and international knowledge exchange,

create opportunities for scholarships to financially support the education of Shitoryu students who are under economic stress,

support the creation of local free-of-charge Shitoryu education publications.
